- Weaam Sperinck is a Glasgow School of Art graduate with a BA(hons) in Design: Visual Communication. In the 2009 D&AD competition she awarded by being published in their Annual for her animation "Birth of the Black Hole". In the same year she found herself one of the few semifinalists in the globally acclaimed Adobe Achievement Awards in the Animation category for "Kakuarshuk".
